Jiu Jitsu for Everyone

No Child Left Behind Program

We are offering scholarships for jiu Jitsu

Wrightwood is a fantastic community with big-hearted community members. One Wrightwood resident wants to pay the tuition for Wrightwood children whose parents cannot afford Jiu Jitsu. Jiu Jitsu offers children self-defense, character building, coordination, body awareness, constructive socialization, positive mentorship, fitness, goal setting and completion skills, anti-bullying, and much more. We believe Jiu Jitsu should be taught to every child as part of their development but unfortunately, it has become an activity of only those who can afford its membership fees. Now, with scholarship opportunities, Eleven Elevation can open its doors to all.

What we Require to apply

  • Must be in grades K-12

  • Must live in Wrightwood

  • Direct Parent Involvement

This is an amazing opportunity and should be treated as such. In the past, we had an anonymous sponsor who paid the tuition for Wrightwood Elementary School students to attend Eleven Elevation Jiu Jitsu Academy for free. It was an amazing opportunity, but unfortunately some people took advantage of the situation and used the sponsorship as free baby sitting. To be accepted for this scholarship we need direct parent involvement. This means you will need to attend some of your child’s classes and observe how they are doing in their class. Parents should have regular conversations with their child’s coach about their progress and work with their children at home when possible. We are not interested in teaching children whose parents are disconnected from the process. We hope this is understood as we want this opportunity to reach families who want to grow together! Eleven Elevation is a family oriented facility.
